You can use a computer for part of your scrapbook, but most of your scrapbook should always be in your own handwriting. This is another import part of scrapbooking, it will show how your handwriting changes over time. This will be of interest to you as you grow older and when you have a family. |

These are items you collect when on vacation or of value to you. Example: brochures from your vacation; school certificate, ribbon from award received, piece of your grandmothers wedding veil. Try and have some memorabilia in your pages to be judged |

The rules state that 8 pages must contain photos and you can have up to 2 pages that have only magazine or newspaper pictures. You can use newspaper articles included with photos on a page. It is best to make a copy of the newspaper article in color or black and white, as newspaper paper is not of high quality and not acid free. If you wish to use the paper then mount it on acid free paper |

Each page is only one side. If you scrapbook has 5 pages front and back that would equal 10 pages. If your scrapbook has 25 pages and you only want 10 of those judged then put a sticky note on each page that you wish to be judged. |

Your scrapbook can have a variety of items in it if you wish, but be sure they are in order by date. Example: Easter 2004, Summer 2004, Halloween 2004, Christmas 2004. You can also have all of the 10 pages be of a trip, event, etc.
