Susan has been involved in the environmental education field for over 25 years. She has worked with schools in the development and utilization of outdoor classrooms and facilitated numerous environmental education workshops and design various environmental themed field days. Susan has also written and received numerous grants for natural resource programs and projects.
She has worked for:
à Currently contract work with: NACD; Shelby County SWCD & SWMD; Billy B and others à Purdue University - as state coordinator for water education program à Greenfield-Central Community School Corporation – as facilitator for environmental education à Hancock County Soil and Water Conservation District –as District Coordinator and educator à Hancock Bank and Trust – Bank Manager
Many of the projects Susan has worked on have received local, state and national awards. She most recently assisted in bringing an international water education program to Japan. She has conducted over 5 trainings for Japan since 2002. Sweden is also investigating bringing Project WET to their country from a presentation made by Susan in 2005.
