This ewe was rejected by her mother at birth for no apparent reason (other than being born 7lbs when her twin brother was 10lbs), Trouble was brought in the house at night and slept in a large storage tote. She soon figured out how to escape the tote and earned her name because even when outside, she became very friendly and would follow people everywhere and be underfoot, seemingly always looking for trouble. My mom and sister made up the poem "Katie had a little lamb, her name was Troublemaker, and everywhere that Katie went, she wanted her to take-her. (naming her Troublemaker in the poem). When Trouble was a week old, MMS 3258 lambed with twin boys, decided to adopt Trouble, and raised all three. Trouble is still friendly, but has become used to the idea that she is a sheep and really isn't any trouble at all anymore, but the name stuck. |
