This ewe weighed 80 lbs at 6 months (July) ~ on pasture and nursing her dam, no grain. Her growthiness continued, and she lambed at 13 months with healthy twin boys. She then adopted a ewe lamb (MMS 3274) that another ewe rejected, and raised all three, with only a little help. The 3 lambs spent the first few nights inside due to frigid weather, but she was a willing, protective and able mother. She was a little thin by the time she weaned them, but she quickly regained her weight (and then some) on pasture what she had lost when nursing.
