Football Concessions
Once again, the Band Boosters are looking for support and workers to help in the concession stand at the football field. This is our main fundraiser and we really need everyone to help. As you may know, we have lost several band members (and their parents) because they could not take academic courses needed AND band as well. Our group will severely feel this loss, not only in performance but also parent support.
If you would please check your schedule and sign up to work two or three games this would be a big help.
Varsity games (5) are on Friday evenings. We need 2-3 parents to arrive early (around 4 pm) to set up and prepare for the evening. We then need at least 8 folks to work beginning around 6 pm to close, usually around 9:30 - 10:00 pm.
JV games (5) are all on Mondays, with the exception of Labor Day. The game for that week is on Tuesday. Again, we will need someone to set up beginning around 4 pm, and then 5 or 6 parents to work until the game is over (around 9 pm).
We also staff for 7th and 8th grade games (6) which are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. These middle school games start at 5:30 pm and usually don't last as long, nor are they extremely busy. We still would like a minimum of 5 people working the concession stand for these games, with someone to set up around 4 pm.
We also open for youth football, which is 7 Saturdays beginning after Labor Day.
This is a total of 23 events, which can be quite overwhelming for a small committee. We are asking that you please return the form you have received from your band student with dates you are able to work to Barb Pittsford (via Cathy Marshall, or Leighann) or let me know by email pittfarm@insightbb.com. Thanks for coming together to support an important part of our children's education.

GFS is located in Anderson, and is open to everyone. You can find significant savings on most items you eat regularly (dairy, meats, and produce), as well as some of the higher-priced 'oven-to-table' and 'ready-to-eat' meals.
